Andrew Colautti

Andrew graduated magna cum laude, in the top 5 of his class (95th percentile) from the Dual-JD program in May 2019, obtaining a JD in Ontario and in Michigan. During law school, he worked summers at CLP Law, including representing clients at trial in the Small Claims Court. He also spent time with the University of Detroit Mercy Housing Clinic, in conjunction with the United Community Housing Coalition, representing indigent and under privileged clients in the 36th District Court in downtown Detroit.

He is the recipient of numerous academic distinctions and scholarships including: Multiple "Book Awards" for achieving the highest grade in individual classes; Dean's List; Outstanding Scholars Scholarship; Michigan Association of Corporate Counsel Scholarship; Robert Warchuck Memorial Scholarship; and he was inducted into the Frank Murphy Honours Society for Academic Excellence.

Since being called to the Bar, Mr. Colautti's practice has focused primarily on Civil and Commercial Litigation with a focus on Construction and Development Litigation, complimented by Probate and Estate Litigation. Mr. Colautti already has multiple reported cases, and has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court, Federal Court, and the Ontario Court of Appeal.

Andrew loves to spend his spare time with his wife and three young children. He is also an avid sports fan (Go Lions!) and musician.
